Carol Scherz
Carol was born in Trinidad and attended Bishop Anstey High School.
She left for the UK and spent 35 years between the UK and Switzerland, returning to Trinidad in the late 1980s.
In 1999, an earlier interest kindled by family and in-laws surfaced by attending a few art courses and she has painted regularly since then.
Although she experiments with all types of media, she favours oils and pastels. Her forte lies in "life studies" and "still life".
Together with three friends "Four Points of View" was formed and exhibitions were held in 2001 and 2003. She has also exhibited with Women Who Paint ( last exhibition at Art Creators Gallery was August 2005) and The Art Society of Trinidad and Tobago.
