Born 1949 Courtney Lopez is a self taught artist in Acrylic media, and has been painting for the past 22 years.
EXHIBITIONS
Between 1995 to present, Courtney Lopez has shown his works at Arima Town Hall Borough Day Art & Craft Exhibitions, Top of the Mount Art Gallery, St. Benedict, Art Society's Annual November Exhibitions.
In addition, he has sold paintings to such companies as Telecommunications Company of Trinidad & Tobago, First Citizens Bank of Trinidad and Tobago and locals living abroad, in such countries as United Kingdom, Canada, United States of America and as far as Australia.
ARTIST'S STATEMENT
I have been exploring a lot of different landscapes, Flora & Fauna, Colonial and Estate buildings, trying to preserve our historical heritage for future generations to enjoy.
