Dominic Isaac, born at La Seiva, Maracas in 1920 was one of the leading painters of the "Primitive" School here.
By occupation a signwriter he was a self-taught artist who had been painting for several years. His works have been exhibited locally, in the West Indies, and in Britain.
Genre scenes formed his main interest. Several of his works have been acquired locally, some of which are preserved at the National Museum.
