Susanne Herdé

Suzanne Herdé was born in Trinidad from French parents.
She liked art from childhood and is a self taught artist. She prefers to paint in acrylics, but also paints on fabric, adding silk ribbons and cotton floss embroidery.

She has entered  her work in several exhibitions and also has her paintings in galleries displayed.
She considers the importance of painting as a way to reach out to people. Painting gives her a peace of mind  and makes her reflect on life. She endeavours to express her feelings through her art.
Her son and daughter have inherited their love of art from their mother and are both into designing. Already a grand daughter is showing signs of following in her footsteps.
