En Plein Air Trip
AJOUPA POTTERY OPEN DAY & PLEIN AIR (Paint Out)

Sunday, 18 April 2010
Report by Peter Sheppard

Several Artists and fans of Ajoupa Pottery ventured into the beautiful countryside on Sunday 18th April, 2010 to paint or visit the Ajoupa's Open House.
From early a.m. sunshine danced across the undulating landscape from many vantage points at Bunty's property in Chickland, Freeport. When the artists arrived they walked around and found little hide-aways from where they could paint, sketch or make notes.

People came and went all day long and they also had the opportunity to visit Ajoupa's studio where there were beautiful ceremics on sale including works by Adam Williams.

Our next Plein Air activity will be "in town" in early May. As soon as the venue is finalized, we will send another notice. We would like to encourage all member artists to participate in this activities and to even bring  a friend who might like to start painting too. See you all soon and Happy painting!
