An early morning drive to the North Coast's Maracas Bay proved beneficial to those who got there before the rain came over the mountains.
The Shark and Bake from Richard's woke up the senses and our artists found their spot and spread across the Western end of Maracas Bay, in the fishing village where there are numerous points of interest to paint.
The curious onlookers admired the works of Harry Bryden, Cynthia McLean, Beverley Fitzwilliam Harries, Richard Cattermole, Marcia Trepte, Sharon Arrindell, Maureen Ottier and Peter Sheppard.
The artists managed to work quickly to capture the essence of the scene before the rain came.
Some of us stayed on and managed to complete their work after the rain passed.
