POINTE-A-PIERRE WILD FOWL TRUST

I was very excited and looking forward to painting at The Pointe-a-Pierre Wild Fowl Trust. It is a peaceful and beautiful location and an obvious choice of location for one of our "plein-air" outings. In all we had an excellent turn out with about 14 Members attending. It was a beautiful morning for painting "plein-air" and as the artists arrived they "set-up shop" around the main pond at the Trust. The water-lilies were an obvious choice for some and the birds for others. One of the nice things about this location is that we were able to find little nooks from which to work, keeping out of the way of other visitors to the trust. There is an endless resource to work from here and we look forward to returning. Our members who attended became members of the Wild Fowl Trust.
On behalf of the ASTT, I would like to thank Molly Gaskin and Karilyn Shephard of the Point a Pierre Wild Fowl Trust for permitting us to visit . For information about the Wild Fowl Trust you can visit their website at http://www.trinwetlands.org/
