Our Easter brunch took place on Saturday, 7th April 2007 from 11am - 5pm at The Art Society's headquarters in Federation Park. This brunch was a
Fund raiser toward the cost of Materials for our upcoming Annual Children Summer Workshop.
Our Easter brunch was well attended. The food was top class! In addition to the buffet style breakfast and lunch offerings, there were a wine tasting and a coffee bar inside the building, where also an exhibitions of paintings, pottery, tie dye and batik took place (all items were for sale and judging from the red stickers, quite some pieces were sold).
The entertainment was absolutely fabulous. Calypsonian Skatie sang numerous "back in time" calypsos and other songs and the charming Codrington Pan Family kept us rocking to many well known tunes.
In the afternoon the "Doubles Man" appeared and did a brisk trade from his cart.
